Queer Writes Sheffield
Creative writing, peer support and queer community
About
What to expect
A member-organised Sheffield writing community for queer people, women and other marginalised writers.
Queer Writes is a Sheffield-based creative-writing community built around collaborative peer support rather than competitive literary standards. Members explore poetry, fiction, memoir, scripts, zines and performance, and any member may lead a session. The group prioritises LGBTQIA+ people, women and other marginalised identities and shares some session information semi-privately for safeguarding.
